What are Teeth Whitening Treatments?
Teeth whitening treatments are done to visibly improve the brightness of the teeth. Professional teeth whitening is done in-clinic offer dramatic improvements on teeth shades with an average of an hour’s worth of treatment time. Take-home teeth whitening kits are also available if you prefer to do the teeth lightening in the comfort and privacy of your own home, but these will take a while to produce significant improvements compared to treatments that are done in our dental clinic in Potter’s Bar.
There are also treatment options that combine in-office visits together with the take-home kit. This treatment includes a custom-made tray that will contain the teeth whitening solution. The tray will then need to be worn for specified times for a period that can last approximately two weeks (depending on the brand or treatment plan). This will then be followed by a teeth whitening treatment in the dental clinic, rounding up the procedure to achieve the significantly lightening of the teeth’s shade.

We recommend in-surgery teeth whitening if you do not have a lot of spare time, with the procedure lasting an average of one hour but delivering significant smile improvement with visibly brighter teeth.
